Link to photos and videos from the week: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZP48rVfNH4CgMkZb6 Yebo Tuesday: We started our weekly planning and got halfway through, then the ZL's called and told us we'd be losing the only good part of our area so we had to restart :’( We went from 20 to 4 recent converts and now we're white washing another area :/ We had a good amount of lessons and talked with a drunk guy on the way home that called everything “marvelous” and told us “I love you”. It was very funny.  Came home and honed in the Chess skills before bed. (Any insights/ tips on chess are welcome)  Wednesday: We had a very brief district council which the AP's joined, they stayed with us Wednesday to Saturday morning. We had a lot of good lessons today especially with some of our recent converts who seem really cool. We walked around some police camps for forever trying to find the person we were teaching. On our 1 hour walk home, we watched some UFO things in the sky that were flyin...

This week has been a really great week, full of many pleasant surprises.  Tuesday: Our day began with taking Elder Ngaue and Sister Francisco to the mission office for their departing lunches. On our way home we stopped at a food truck called “Rico's Taco's”, they were so bomb! Once we arrived home we weekly planned and I packed a little since I knew I'd  most likely be transferred. We taught a lot of really great lessons, and said bye to our boy Chaka, that guy is a G, I'm so excited for his baptism. We took the sisters to their member lesson and joined them. We dropped them at home after the lesson and then went to “267”. This was hands down the best food I've had on mission, delicious steaks, buttermilk fried chicken burgers with garlic aioli, Pork ribs, mocktails on the house. I was literally in heaven. Wednesday: We had a great lesson with Bobonong on the ...

Photos and videos from the week:  https://photos.app.goo.gl/ KZCQ2tVN1PCFdxRL6 Tuesday: Not much went on today, we had a lot of errands to run plus, weekly planning. We drove around dropping stuff off to our zone and the office and taught a few good lessons. We tried some authentic vegetarian Indian food place and it slapped IJOHH! Wednesday: Our first lesson was on the military base with our guy Bobonong, he was a soldier and fell into/ recovered from a coma. He's very receptive and says he'll come to church on Sunday!  We had a lot of other amazing lessons with our friends such as Chaka, Eric, Remo/ Monewa, and some others. Today was a good day. Thursday: We joined the Mochudi elders and sisters as well as the Smiths and Kaspers at the vacant Mochudi flat. The previous elders left it a mess so we spent from 9:00-2:00 deep cleaning the whole thing. Elder Wutkee and I split Mochudi's area for the day and did an exchange. The highlights were that I got to see Rainforce and P...

Week #69 Charity Never Faileth

Sup, I'm tired, let's get started. Tuesday: Our week began with distressed friends calling us in the morning crying and in a bad headspace. We rushed over to go calm them down and give them a blessing, I guess missionary work has a much larger job description than I initially anticipated.  We also got to help a man fix his bakkie since it broke down in the rainstorm. The YSA elders (Karp and Kawuki) came over to play a few games before new years. Wednesday: We had MLC at the Walkers home in the morning, it was very insightful and I learned a lot! I also can't complain that they gave us each a whole pizza. After we returned to our areas I double-covered with Mosweswe (my son) for exchanges, it was a lot of fun. We had a really good lesson with Chaka and he's continuing to progress well! Thursday: Today was a perfect day. We had 11 back to back lessons, found 4 people, had 2 lessons with members participating, these are the types of days you pray for! We got to see some a...
