Week #70 We Are Basically Chefs Now.

Tuesday:
Not much went on today, we had a lot of errands to run plus, weekly planning. We drove around dropping stuff off to our zone and the office and taught a few good lessons. We tried some authentic vegetarian Indian food place and it slapped IJOHH!
Wednesday:
Our first lesson was on the military base with our guy Bobonong, he was a soldier and fell into/ recovered from a coma. He's very receptive and says he'll come to church on Sunday!
We had a lot of other amazing lessons with our friends such as Chaka, Eric, Remo/ Monewa, and some others. Today was a good day.
Thursday:
We joined the Mochudi elders and sisters as well as the Smiths and Kaspers at the vacant Mochudi flat. The previous elders left it a mess so we spent from 9:00-2:00 deep cleaning the whole thing. Elder Wutkee and I split Mochudi's area for the day and did an exchange.
The highlights were that I got to see Rainforce and Pauline. They're almost done with their house which means they'll go to Zimbabwe soon and get married, which means they can get baptized soon! We also got to see a really cool less active member on our way home.
Friday:
Sister Walker and the Smiths joined us for our district council first thing in the morning, it was a pretty good district council. I got to give a training on working with members, Wutkee and I have seen a lot of success through this so it was perfect.
We had a few decent lessons but the best was with Chaka as usual. He redlined his audi and showed us his huge subs in the trunk before the lesson which was a bonus
We ended the night by cooking chapati and stew with the sisters for a member. It was sooooo good, now we have all of Relief Society asking us to come cook for them
Saturday:
We found some inactive members and taught them, met a really cool FB referral, and met with some of our progressing friends.
The highlight was when the Smiths came to teach the Mbwandos (less active family) with us. We had an amazing lesson about turning our homes into a holy place since they don't have the means to make the very long commute to church with their young family.
Sunday:
We got 6 friends to church today which was amazing, and 4 of them were potential melchizedek priesthood holders. They were all participating in class and one of them came to us and said he's ready for baptism so we set a date with him. It was an amazing church service!
Our last lesson of the night was with a single mother, her twin sister, and the mothers kid (members). We cooked with them and shared a spiritual thought. I can definitely say my favorite part about being a missionary is being with members. I learn so much from them and feel my testimony grow immensely when I’m around them.
Monday:
We did a game drive with both Gabs zones as well as the Walkers. We saw a lot of really cool animals (I'll upload vids).
We also got Thai food with the Smiths and Kaspers (seniors), they told us so many funny stories about their Iives and how they met each other. I also love spending time with the senior couples.
We came home and watched an amazing devotional on “The Living Christ” by the Smiths.
Conclusion:
It was a really good week, we hit our goals again and had a lot of fun while doing it. Transfers are this week so it'll be exciting to see what happens! Until next week
