Tuesday: We started our day with a couple hours of finding and we found some really awesome people! Especially this one brother named Wakgotla who seems very receptive and interested. We also met with a lot of recent converts today which was great as usual. As well as a lot of people that should be baptized but marriage is the only thing preventing them from that. It's a problem that is very difficult to resolve due to marriage traditions here :/ It’s sad that it prevents so many willing souls from receiving this covenant. We managed to get 10 lessons today so that was fun. Wednesday: Tuia and Gibb both went in the morning with the office elders for visa work; they didn't come back until about 16:30. Another week in the books, and it went fast as usual… Tuesday: The morning started with some leadership trainings over zoom which were all good. They invited us to reflect on how we looked up to our trainers when we were green and it was really cool to think back on those days. We did our transfer and weekly planning and officially found out our area boundaries. We got some lunch at choppies (grocery store) and then headed out. The area has no teaching pool so we had a couple lessons and then we did a lot of door knocking. Wednesday: Elder Gibb woke up puking from whatever we ate yesterday so he wasn't fit to go out. I just called people and studied while he slept for almost the whole day. Thursday: Today was great, we taught 9 lessons, found a few new people, got to meet some really cool members as well, and even had some members join us for lessons! My son i...

We went to Boipelo's for our first lesson which went great. She gave us fries and some fire BLT's along with a bag full of chocolate and chips haha.  We met with a couple more recent converts and then we went to a house beside one of our recent converts that had a dot on it. We had never taught this person before but previous missionaries had. We ended up finding three people there and got to teach all of them! We finished the day by contacting a few more recent converts. Wednesday: We had a lot of lessons fall through today so we scrambled around and tried our best to fill the schedule, nothing crazy. I wish I could say this week would be an exception. Here's the highlights. A lot of rain this week which was nice but also hindered the work quite a bit. Interviews with President Walker were great! He's the best. Kelvin is going back to Zambia for a while so we’ll be connecting him to the missionaries that side. Made madombi with a recent convert, Letso, which was fire. Machisu and Whitworth stayed the night so we made chapati and beef stew. A tokoloshe also attacked them in the night. Had a good district service project clearing someone's yard. had a potluck at district council. Chicken, beef, chapati, drinks, etc. Boipelo is doing great since her baptism, Mma Kaone is progressing really well, as well as her son Katlo. It's only a matter of time until they're baptized.
