Dumela, it's good to be speaking with y'all again. Another week in the books, and it went fast as usual…

Tuesday:

The morning started with some leadership trainings over zoom which were all good. They invited us to reflect on how we looked up to our trainers when we were green and it was really cool to think back on those days.

We did our transfer and weekly planning and officially found out our area boundaries. We got some lunch at choppies (grocery store) and then headed out. The area has no teaching pool so we had a couple lessons and then we did a lot of door knocking.

Wednesday:

Elder Gibb woke up puking from whatever we ate yesterday so he wasn't fit to go out. I just called people and studied while he slept for almost the whole day.

Thursday:

Today was great, we taught 9 lessons, found a few new people, got to meet some really cool members as well, and even had some members join us for lessons!

My son is learning a lot as well, he's a beast

Friday:

We held District Council over WhatsApp since there were no available chapel keys. President and Sister Walker joined so that was really amazing and they shared some great insights. I gave a training and my son gave a really good talk.

We biked 11 kms out to the edge of our area to meet with a couple of recent converts and friends, so that was a good exercise. We use a really narrow 2 lane main road so it's kinda sketchy but also fun.

We did some finding with brother Masutha, an absolute beast, and found some really cool families.

Once we got home the 4 of us were sharing hilarious stories from back home, we lucked out in this flat.

Saturday:

We met a really cool recent convert boy named Abotle. We had a great lesson on the BOM and gave him a real one since he was using the BOM Stories.

The office elders picked us up after that lesson so we could do some errands for Elder Gibbs visa stuff. We also got a bite to eat and some ice cream so it was nice. They drove us to our next lesson which was great and then we went back to the stake center for a stake devotional from Elder Godoy (South Africa Area President). It was all about the Atonement and Easter, Elder Matswagothata of the 70 (formerly brother Matswagothata from when I served in Broadhurst) was also there and gave a great talk. Elder Godoy called up my recent convert Boipelo, from Kanye, up to the pulpit and she shared an amazing testimony completely on the spot! It was great to see her and hear her testimony.

We taught a couple more lessons and then went home to study.

Sunday:

We had a great combined Easter Sunday sacrament meeting with a great talk from Junior Moremong (1st counselor in the bishopric). Mogoditshane branch and Peolwane branch were both there which gave us like 12 missionaries which was nuts.

We had a family come to church that we contacted on Saturday. It was a lot of drunk men that we just gave some pamphlets to but one of them actually showed up with his family! And he said he's going to come again next week!

We had some amazing lessons today, went finding with Masutha, and found 10 new people! Today was great!

Monday:

About 25 of us missionaries did a sunrise hike at kgale hill. We woke up around 3:45, started the hike around 4:30 and enjoyed the beautiful view and rising sun.

We got some food after, groceries, came home and slept, and weekly planned. Today was a good pday!!

Conclusuon:

Have a great week everyone <3
