Hey everyone, hopefully you all had a good week. We had a pretty decent week! Here's a little about it.
Our week began with zone conference, my last one! It was pretty good, a little different than how President Walker did it but mostly the same. The Neubergers are great, the mission is in good hands. They did however implement a new rule, no direct messaging anyone outside of your family. So I'll talk to a lot of you in 15 days
We finally got a new SIM card by Wednesday (we lost the previous one along with Elder Searles phone last friday). We've continued to teach the big group of friends that have been doing BYU pathway with Brother Masutha. Kabo, Kabelo, Simba, Naomi, Kefilwe, and lastly Moemedi. Moemesi isn't available at the same time as all the others so we've been trying to meet with him separately to catch him up.
We got to teach Owen a lot as well as Thato. They were both baptized on Sunday and I had the privilege of performing the ordinance. They are both so amazing!
We’ve also been teaching a sister, Kopano, and her little sister, Judith, who've been coming to church every Sunday for the past 5 Sundays from very far! We taught Kopano the Word of Wisdom with a member after church. Kopano was surprised a little by it but decided to fully commit to living it, she's so elect. We even got to put her on date for Aug 10th.
We also moved Teenabow and Wandisa’s baptismal date to the 10th so that their whole family can be there for it.
We had an exchange on Saturday, Elder Hansen came with me to my area. We had a lot of fun and had a couple good lessons, a few lessons where the people weren't so serious, and attended a wedding for an hour. We also ended the exchange with McDonalds!!! It's been 2 years. The EQP (goat) brought some from Jo-Berg since they were on a temple trip.
For Pday we played Vball and Bball in the morning like usual,no locals this time unfortunately. We played a lot of snooker and got some food.
The week was good, we saw some great success, now we'll just be working to help all our friends prepare for their baptismal date on the 10th of August.
Have a killer week everyone
Love Elder Miller
