Lets get started!
Tuesday:
I called 1 million people in the morning for weekly planning and then we went out for the day. We taught the security guard, Bass bass, on the way out of the flat and another lady joined us. We taught many other lessons during the day but I'll just highlight one.
It was our second time meeting with this lady, we had found her a few days prior with Masutha. She told us her husband was a prophet so we knew we were already in for it. After teaching about the restoration, she informed us she was visited by Moses. He had flaming eyes and a staff stretching higher than she could see, and he played his hands upon her head and gave her the priesthood.
Needless to say, we meet all kinds out here…
Wednesday:
On our way out of the flat we managed to catch all 3 security guards and teach them, they seem quite receptive, especially Bass Bass.
We had a bunch of other mid lessons and then the Office Elders picked us up in the van. We went to the airport and almost the whole mission was there. We said goodbye to President and Sister Walker, they will be dearly missed.
We went back to the area, and taught the group of 8 YSA that Masutha got to church last Sunday. They're awesome, I hope they keep progressing. We taught a handful more lessons and then came home, I made some bomb fried chicken and called it a night.
Thursday:
We had a few decent lessons in the morning, one of them was with Dorothy and Definite who are continuing to progress very well! Some funny guy sat with us while we ate lunch and was telling us that “obese girls are fantastic” that was interesting, we couldn't help but laugh
We had a lot of other good lessons and finally put Michelle on date for the 6th of July. Our last lesson was very far in our area and it was very cold and windy and the brother offered to drive us home. That was a blessing fr.
I made butter chicken for the first time, it slapped. Shout out chatGPT recipes!
Friday:
The ZL's picked us at 7am to go drop off Elder Tolbert, my father, at the airport. It was fun to see him off, I'll see him again soon so it was just chill. I also got my flight plans to go home today, so that was wild.
The ZL's dropped us at home, the OE's picked us up shortly after and took us to the Stake center. President and sister Neuberger met with all of Gabs and introduced themselves for 2 hours and let us ask questions, it was a lot of fun and they seem awesome! We also had lunch after which slapped!
We went out to the far part of the area, Gabane, it was very cold and we had some mid lessons. We came home and called it a night.
Saturday:
We went back out to the farm we were on Saturday and we finished the job. We used hoes to break up the dirt in lines and then planted Safflowers, whatever that is. They fed us magwinya, KFC, and juice after which slapped.
We taught a lot of lessons during the rest of the day and met some cool new people. Before going home we contacted a lot of people and reminded them about church tomorrow. I made some nxa chapati to end the night.
Sunday:
We got over 20 friends to church which was great!! We went finding with Brother Masutha and High Councilor Molemi. We met a lot of new people and had some great lessons. Then we went to the Rampes and had a DA with them, the Sisters, and the ZL's. The Rampe family is the best, we had some great food, and a good spiritual thought!
We had a few more good lessons to end the night, then the ZL's took us to Elder Laws flat. We covered him in flour water, and eggs for his birthday! He got destroyed
Monday:
We played sports, destroyed some locals in bball, played some vball with the missionaries. Then we came home, ordered food and played snooker.
I'm writing this mid day so we’ll see how the rest of the day goes.
Conclusion:
Have a good week, love y’all!
