Hey everyone, I trust you've all been well since my last update! I'd like to preface my email by saying how grateful I am for the emails many of you have sent me, I believe I have now responded to all of them. If not, please send me a message so I can get back to you :)

Let's get into this week's summary…

Tuesday:

We taught a really cool family (Simon and Thapelo). We found them a few days back, they're so receptive and eager to learn more

A great lesson with Tshoganetso, a really cool Mom we found a month ago. She is also very receptive

Wednesday:

Havea told me some crazy stories today that had me dying laughing…

We had a lot of lessons cancel so that meant finding

Lucia continues to impress me, she taught 3 lessons with us today, she's awesome!

Had a great lesson with Phandipha!

Thursday:

We had MLC today and Havea had to give a talk. When he wasn't looking I switched his username to “AP Havea”, he had no idea until I told him after, it was hilarious

Our last lesson was over the phone. It went from 8:50-9:45, way too long. The people wanted to keep talking, and the connection was horrible. Not an enjoyable experience to say the least

Friday:

We had a great district council, Elder Havea spoke on Eternal Marriage. I don't think I've laughed that hard in a while, everyone else was crying.

We had our exchange with the AP’s, I was with Elder Steimle for the day. We did a lot of finding and found some pretty cool people, hopefully they can progress!

Both the AP and the ZL baakies got locked with the keys inside 15 minutes away from us. So, we needed an emergency pickup at like 9:45 from Elder Allen

Saturday:

Pretty average day today, we taught a decent amount of lessons, found a couple people, had some nice contacts.

We were walking for the first few hours of the day since our baakie was still locked far away

Sunday:

I was on exchanges today with Elder Pirie. We taught some good lessons and it was really fun to kick it old school like we were back in Kanye when I was a greenie

We taught an amazing lesson to Mmusi, Boitshepo, and Bogadi’s parents. Hopefully we can continue to meet with them and they'll allow their children to be baptized.

Monday:

We had a nice, traditional, Botswana potluck since the Youngs were gone again. Mabele with lerotse, morogo, and chicken stew.

We also played some skull King and cover your assets

We finished the night by teaching a few lessons.

Spiritual Thought:

There are things we may control in our lives and those that we cannot. I encourage us all, to control the controllable in our lives, to have integrity to what we know is true, to be examples to others.

Integrity is a Christlike attribute that instills self confidence, trust between us and others, and dependability.

As we look to the examples of Nephi and Daniel, we see perfect examples of integrity.

When Nephi swore an oath to Zoram as he attempted to flee from Nephi and his brothers, he was almost instantly put at ease. Why? Because he knew that Nephi was a man of his word.

Or, the example of Daniel before he was cast into the lion's den when he continued to pray despite the laws put in place to restrict prayer.

Integrity can be a defining factor in who we are and who we become. When we have a firm set of moral, spiritual, etc. standards we can withstand temptation and be an example of truth and strength to others.

“Don’t let the world change you when you were born to change the world.”

Love y'all have a great week!!
