Week #12 Lone Missionaries In Swakopmund

I'm writing this email 10 minutes before curfew so this week will be very short.

A few highlights this week:

We put our friend Ishuna who's been coming to church every week on date to be baptised for the 27th of January!
I gave a talk on baptismal covenants. It was my third talk ever. One when I was like 10, my farewell talk, and now this talk.
Today we dropped the sisters off at the airport so now we're all alone in Swakopmund
Elder Tolbert split his pants
What would one of my emails be without a food update?  I've been enjoying Pap a lot more lately. We revisited the donut shop. And we've made dozens of cookies this week.
Two more p-days till Christmas!! P-day will be on Tuesday next week.

I hope you're all doing well and I love you all so much.

A quick testimony about mission work.

The mission has been the most testimony-strengthening, faith-building, and influential experience of my life thus far. It has been incredibly difficult but an amazing decision.

Have a Merry Christmas and enjoy the holidays.

All the best,
Elder Miller

The graduates from last week.
The local people here love this dish of boiled bones. I still prefer Fish & Chips.
Saying goodbye to the sisters today. We will likely get some new sisters in the next month or so.
Flamingos on the horizon.
